Ready to Make Your First Sewing Item...?

With support, laughs and zero pressure!

Join us in a relaxed, beginner-only course for adults who are done waiting for “someday” and ready to finally learn how to sew!

All it takes is your curiosity - and the guts to give it a go!

Over six weekly, hands-on sessions, you’ll go from unsure to unstoppable – threading your machine, sewing straight seams, inserting zips and buttonholes and finishing 3 practical projects you’ll be proud to show off.

From Clueless to Confident - in a Month

We break skills into digestible chapters and celebrate small wins – because that’s how confidence grows. No overwhelming theory. No complicated jargon. Just real progress, one step at a time.

  • In week one, you’ll learn how to thread your machine and sew in a straight line. That’s your first win.
  • Next? You’ll tackle zips, seams, fasteners and buttonholes.
  • Each class builds on the last, with just the right mix of challenge and support to keep things moving without stress.

That first stitch might feel scary - but a little over one month later, you’ll be surprised by how far you’ve come!

By the end of the course, you’ll know how to read a basic pattern, understand your tools and finish three projects you made with your own hands.

The format works: one 3-hour session a week gives you time to learn, practice and breathe. Groups are small, so you get individual help without ever feeling lost.

Curriculum

  • Getting to Know Your Machine: thread, bobbin, parts, tension, feet, needle

It’s like learning a new language – definitions finally click, jargon turns into plain English and you actually understand the difference between woven and knit fabrics!
