Delicate Details, Professional Results - All in Just Half a Day

Learn the cutwork technique you’ll want to use on everything – from sheer nets to statement sleeves

In this inspiring half-day workshop, you’ll learn how to create elegant lace-effect embroidery using your embroidery machine – a technique called cutwork. On the day, you’ll be stitching onto a sheer net corner, but the skills you gain go far beyond just one item.

The Secret to Making Your Sewing Look High-End

Cutwork is one of those versatile embroidery techniques that adds instant sophistication. Once you’ve mastered the basics, you can apply it to napkins, table runners, sleeves, yokes, or even pockets. It’s especially valuable if you’re into garment sewing – this is the kind of detail that makes handmade clothing look professionally finished.

What To Expect

You’ll be guided through every step: working with tea net and Avalon stabilizer, hooping and positioning correctly, trimming fabric with confidence and achieving a clean, lacy finish. The design you’ll stitch is elegant, satisfying and designed to build both skill and confidence.

The workshop includes a beautiful cutwork design for you to take home – so you can keep exploring after the class.

Who Can Attend

This session is perfect for confident beginners to advanced embroiderers who want to expand what their embroidery machine can do. Whether you love making gifts, heirloom items, or handmade clothes, this workshop will give you a new favourite technique.

Bring your embroidery machine and your curiosity – we’ll provide the inspiration, guidance and gorgeous results.

Come curious. Leave confident, with lace in hand and new creative options at your fingertips.
