This workshop is specially designed for owners of the following BERNINA machines:

You know your machine extremely well – or at least, that’s how it feels after years of sewing on the same trusted companion. You know where everything is. You know which stitch you like. You know what works, so you stick with it.

Over time, that familiarity can quietly turn into a comfort zone. Certain functions are simply never used – either because they were never properly introduced in the beginning, or you never practiced enough to become second nature. Some presser feet stay untouched. Some settings are adjusted “the way they’ve always been.” And so your machine becomes reliable… but slightly underused.
This three-hour session is designed for you if you’ve ever realized, “I know my machine very well – but I always wondered what that button does.”
Introducing Club Hubs!
Specifically geared for BERNINA and BERNETTE owners of all models, Club Hubs have been ignited to help you get the most out of your BERNINA or BERNETTE machine and overlockers. These in-shop sessions are practical, hands-on and confidence-building, focused on helping you understand and enjoy the machine you already own.
A year-round learning experience
- We offer 7 different Club Hubs, each dedicated to a specific BERNINA or BERNETTE machine series.
- Every Club Hub takes place four times during the course of the year, giving you flexibility to attend when it suits you best and revisit sessions as your confidence grows.
How the Club Hub Works
This is an open, interactive discussion where you’re encouraged to ask questions about the features on your specific machine. We’ll explore how and when to use functions you may have skipped over, clarify what certain settings actually do, and share practical insights that make everyday sewing more enjoyable.
We’ll also take time to explore the Foot of the Month, showing how it works and where it can make sewing easier or more enjoyab
Cost
- This workshop is free for BERNINA Overberg Sewing Club members.
- For non-members, the cost is R495 for the full three-hour session.
