Join us for a unique day dedicated to unlocking the full potential of your BERNINA Embroidery Software.

The morning begins with a focused 60-minute demonstration (09:00-10:00) to introduce the latest features and capabilities of the software: intuitive design editing, WiFi connectivity, and seamless integration with your embroidery machine. Click here for more information about the demo.

After the demo, dive deep into the full training session from 10:30 to 16:00.

This extended session is designed for hands-on practice, step-by-step guidance, and tailored support so you leave confident in using the software for your next embroidery projects.

What will be Covered

1. Software Setup & Basics

  • Installation/licensing, measurement units, screen calibration.
  • Hoop/library setup, navigating and organising designs.
  • Managing threads, colours and file formats.
    (As referenced in the SkillHub and workbook outlines for V9)
  • Hands-on exercise: open sample design, change hoop, view sequence, export file.

2. Editing & Organizing Designs

  • Selecting objects, grouping/ungrouping, changing stitch types, colours, resizing. (See video list)
  • Using the colour film, layering, object order, jump stitch elimination.
  • Hands-on: pick a design, alter elements, optimise for stitching.

3. Digitising & Creating Designs

  • Auto-digitising vs manual digitising: converting artwork to embroidery objects.
  • Advanced tools: Branching, Weld, Mirror-Merge, Appliqué conversion.
  • Hands-on: import an image, digitise part of it manually or via autoconversion, apply corrections.

4. Special Effects & Techniques

  • Lettering and monograms: font management, keyboard design collection.
  • In-the-Hoop projects, trapunto, lacework, couching (based on advanced modules)
  • Hands-on: create a small in-the-hoop sample or apply couching/3D effect.

5. Exporting, Workflow & Machine Transfer

  • Preparing files for stitching: format export, hoop alignment, jump stitch trimming, thread chart.
  • Setting up WiFi/device transfer, sending to machine, review on machine. 
  • Troubleshooting common issues: hoop size mismatch, design distortion, stabilizer considerations.
